Double Irish Chain
This is another gift quilt for Christmas. I have to say I love making quilts out of squares, rectangles, or doing strip piecing. I will probably still make quilts that involve triangles, but I really love the way these ones go together faster! This one was really fun to make!

Latest project - double irish chain
This is a block from my current project - a double irish chain. I have never made this pattern, but I am loving it! Of course, I'm resizing it from the instructions I have and the math of it all is a bit maddening, but this fabric is just gorgeous and I love, love, love it!
BOMs - caught up!
I have caught up on my BOMs thanks to Pat's Ketchup Weekend challenge. Only 3 more to go. I am glad. I have decided I do not like doing these. Might be because the directions have not always been clear or accurate. Might be because of the very stingy fabric cuts included. Not sure what I will do with these, but we'll see when they're all done!

Blue and white hidden 9-patch
I just love this blue and white quilt! I wracked my brain trying to come up with a quilt pattern to use. I found an example of this is a quilting magazine and thought it would look good in blue and white!

Indigos Around
Here is my latest quilt top - this one is for ME! (finally!) I made it a bit larger than the pattern called for because I thought it a bit small for a lap quilt. I just love it!

Go Fish!
One of my close friends said, "I want a quilt!" So, I asked her what her favorite colors were. She said they were purple, blue, and green. The very next day in my mailbox I received a quilt magazine offer with a free pattern included for this quilt. I knew it meant that I should make it for her! I also added a strip of patchwork on the back of it, inspired by Amandajean (crazymomquilts). This was also the first quilt that was quilted on my new frame with my new Juki machine!
